Housing Services
Transitional or Permanent Housing for Veterans Homeless or in risk to become one? Worldwide Veterans and Family Services Inc., provides transitional and/or permanent housing for Homeless Veteran- Individuals/Families in the New York Metropolitan Area and specifically Bronx, New York. To enhance each participant’s ability to become independent thereby breaking of homeless and poverty among veterans. Currently, we have a project for Affordable Housing for our veterans (see our project section)
Job Training For Veterans
Worldwide Veterans and Family Services, Inc. (WVFS), provide training to veterans who have been unable to obtain employment because of a lack of skills or disabilities and develop skills, appropriate workplace behavior, and opportunities to join the workplace. This is a benefit to create opportunities to uplift communities for both employers and potential employees. This directly addresses crime, poverty, and contributes to the growth of healthy striving communities.
Food and Clothes Pantry
Worldwide Veterans and Family Services Inc, in partnership with God Bless You All Inc, Christian Community Church, and Movimiento Misionero Mundial, provide every week free food and clothes to veterans and other communities in need
Medical and Mental Health Assistance
Veterans face unique risks due to their military service (including psychological and cognitive injuries associated with combat and repeated deployments), which can lead to mental health problems as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, relationship difficulties, and financial hardship.
In Worldwide Veterans and Family Services Inc, are committed to protecting our veterans providing medical, mental health assistance, as well all emotional support they need to reduce the suicides in the veterans

WVFS assists vulnerable veteran populations, such as seniors, children, and low-income families with:
Food distribution to veterans homeless or in a high level of poverty, individuals, or with family, Shelter beds for homeless veterans.
Due to COVID-19, there are much more veterans in need to food, clothes, medicines, medical and mental health assistance (about the PTSD of veterans suffer, they are needing this assistance as soon as possible)
Emergency and cleaning supplies: Masks, Gloves, First Aid Kits for veterans and their families
Delivery food to veterans and disables that have high-risk health issues.

Our Veterans
Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. (WVFS) is a 501c3, Tax-Exempt Corporation founded in 2015 by a disabled Veteran, Chaplain Marisa Estrella. Ms. Marisa Estrella was a Chaplain Assistant in the United States Army, With the mission to provide transitional and permanent housing for Homeless Veteran- Individuals/Families in the New York Metropolitan Area and specifically Bronx, New York. To enhance each participant’s ability to become independent thereby breaking of homeless and poverty among veterans. As well we provide them support in Medical assistance, mental health care, food, clothes, uniforms and school supplies, job training, education, help in crisis situations, and transportation.

Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. (WVFS), a 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit, public charity organization, strives to fulfill our mission to empower veterans by providing an array of services for veterans as emergency funds, job training and placement, counseling, referrals, transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless veterans, with or without family or at risk of becoming homeless, in the New York Metropolitan Area, specifically in Bronx, NY.
I, Chaplain Marisa Estrella, President/Founder of Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. (WVFS), desire to help others and the understanding of the multidimensional plight of our veterans propelled me to establish this organization. Ending homelessness and poverty among veterans requires rapidly connecting veterans in need with housing and government benefits. Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. (WVFS), pledges a total commitment to providing comprehensive outreach services and referrals in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs, HUD- VASH, NYCHA, DOL, NYHRA, and various other City Agencies.
We will foster a strong peer community through a veterans-helping-veterans approach, mentorship, and broad support to all veterans.
Worldwide Veteran and Family Services, Inc. operates according to the philosophy that veterans have earned the respect and gratitude of our nation and in return, shall be provided with whatever services they need. Our philosophy is summed up with the phrase:
“They were there when we needed them. We must be there now that they need us.”
Our goal is to help them heal the wounds; restore dignity, hope, and self-sufficiency to significantly reduce homelessness and poverty among them. As well as to reduce the suicides among veterans through quality health assistance and emotional support.
